Hemidactylus pumilio   -   Pigmy Socotran Gecko

Socotran endemic species. The smaller Socotran gecko, less than 6 cm long, common from the sea level

up to 900 meters a.s.l. Colour variable from yellowish to brownish with indistinct dark spots or bands.

Small light irregular tubercles. This species usually inhabits open areas with sparse rocks and vegetation,

it is usually observed on the ground or under stones.
