Pristurus obsti   -   Obst's Semaphore Gecko

Socotran endemic species. A small sized species, less than 8 cm long, the back is light or reddish brown

with vertebral light blotches. Flanks with more or less continuous orange-brown lines. Black lines between

the eyes. As P. guichardi it has purely arboreal habits, it was observed on branches and trunks trees and

medium sized shrubs but never on the ground. It occurs in all woodlands, from coastal mangroves to

savannah trees, palm trees and large bushes in West island.
